@krezrock, sorry, I didn’t mean to make you list out every device. I was wondering specifically which one(s) you’re using, so we could try to test on that.

This feature request is contingent on Team Vuo getting access to Magewell’s Mac SDK (or Vuo adding support for Windows or Linux). Currently, Magewell’s SDK page only lists versions for Windows and Linux. A press release suggests that a Mac version exists or is forthcoming.

I’ll pair it down to just the mobile versions. As that’s what’s in my kit.

Understood in regards to SDK.

According to their Compatibility Page (http://www.magewell.com/compatible-software) the Pro Capture Family and USB Capture Family both show OS X (MacOS) as compatible toward the bottom and their are beta drivers available for the Pro family (http://www.magewell.com/downloads). It looks like the USB Capture Family might have native OS support now? Does that mean that the SDK won’t be necessary for the USB devices and that they likely will just work?

Since the Magewell Pro Capture Family and USB Capture Family both claim to be compatible with QuickTime Player, yes, it’s likely that they now work with Vuo’s Receive Live Video. Though the only way to know for sure is to test them.

As with Add support for capturing video from Blackmagic devices, the benefits of this feature request would be to provide more control over the device and hopefully to reduce latency compared to QuickTime.

May someone please confirm that Magewell HDMI to USB works in Vuo using standard Receive Live Video?
