Vuo version:

OS version:

  • OS X 10.10

Steps causing the bug to occur:

  1. click output port
  2. drag to left or right to find a node slightly off screen
  3. —> editor tends to over-shoot the panning past the target node
  4. come back the opposite way towards target node
  5. —> editor tends to over-shoot the panning in other direction past the target node
  6. rinse and repeat and slow down

How did the result differ from what you expected?:

didn't 'just work' like i thought it would :-)

Have you found a workaround?:

slow, fractional pixel by pixel movement near the last inch of Editor window. time consuming.

Yep, that's a bug. We'll work on it.

In the meantime, a couple of additional workarounds:

  • start dragging the cable, then use 2-finger scrolling (on a trackpad) to move the viewport
  • start dragging the cable, then use the scroll wheel (to scroll vertically) or shift-scrollwheel (to scroll horizontally)
