How severely does this bug affect you?:

●●●○ — It prevents me from completing a specific task with Vuo.

Steps causing the bug to occur:

  1. Publish the "Center" of a Make Layer node
  2. Load composition in VDMX and move the x slider and the y slider in VDMX that determine the "Center" 3.You see that VDMX slider values x= 0...1 and y=0...0,75 are ok and move the layer center to the right (x) or upwards (y), but any other values result in the layer disappearing in VDMX. It is not possible to move the center of the Layer to the left or downwards.

The x and y parameters are not correctly mapped from vuo to vdmx: The x slider in VDMX ranges from x=0 to 1024 (pixel), negative values are not accepted. But Vuo coordinates range from x=-1 to x=1. The y slider in VDMX ranges from 0 to 768 Pixel, but the vuo coordinates range from -0.75 to +0.75.

The "Edit Details..." menu item, which appears when you right-click on a numerical published input port, isn't yet implemented for 2d points. Until that's implemented, a workaround is to split the published input port into x and y, and combine them with a Make 2D Point node.

The layer disappearing when you enter negative numbers for x and y sounds like an issue with VDMX. (It works correctly when you run the composition in Vuo Editor, right?)
