I tested the first example of page 57 in VUO manual - that plays a sound every time mouse enters a rectangle area. Sometimes the sound is emitted even at composition start, even if mouse isn't in the area. How can I skip just that sound?
It emits a sound on start if the event from
Fire on Start reaches
Is within Rectangle before the initial event from
Receive Mouse Moves does, in which case
Is within Rectangle outputs true and
Became True lets the event through to
Play Audio File. You can avoid this by inserting a
Hold Value node to block the event from
Fire on Start.
