Pressing ESC while renaming Node CRASHES Vuo

Steps causing the bug to occur

  1. Double-click on node name, as if to rename it. For example ‘Fire on Start’
  2. Press ESC
  3. Vuo crashes

Have you found a workaround?

Don’t press ESC. But it is a common key assignment to exit a text field without change, for example in MacOS Finder, so is motor memory for me.

Other notes

  • Vuo version: 2.3.2
  • macOS version: macOS 11
  • CPU: arm64
  • How severely does this bug affect you? It’s annoying but I can work around it.

Would love this one fixed in next update…it feels like super small but high impact? @jmcc
