Really looking forward to 0.8 through 1.0 releases.

There are some very cool features being added in the next few months! It looks like 0.8 is a day or so late, looking forward to when it’s released as I have plans for the Barcode reader, Math Expression Nodes and Window Parameters. I’m also really excited about the camera input and the drag and drop features coming in late September in 0.9 too! And in 1.0 release I’m excited about the “Select and OSC nodes with variable number of ports” for Multiplexer type functionality, this should compliment the Video input nodes very nicely! :)

Now that I’ve had a little more time to consider it, I do hope FxPlug plugins, iOS Apps and RaspberryPi, (maybe Android) get moved a little farther up the priority list as I have a few neat ideas for creating for these as well. This is such an exciting tool you have created here, with loads of potential!!!

I’ve just been playing around in 0.8 a bit. Awesome work VUO team. The barcode reader seems to be working well, I was able to get it to read datamatrix codes from a Syphon Camera feed. Very nicely done!

We’re starting to plan out the post-1.0 roadmap in more detail — and investigating if/how we can expedite video editing plugins, and iOS/Android app exporting. We should have more news on that in a few weeks.
