Fixed in Vuo version:

OS version:

  • Mac OS 10.10

Steps causing the bug to occur:

  1. connect camera via firewire
  2. make composition
  3. displays video incorrectly

How did the result differ from what you expected?:

Video is skewed like the horizontal control knob is out of whack (If any one remembers that from old CRT TVs)

Camera is Panasonic PV-GS320. I used a make video input node, receive live video node. Used "PV-GS320" as name. PV-GS320 shows in Quicktime new video recording window and camera displays correctly.

When did you first notice this bug?:

May 6, 2015

Have you found a workaround?:

nope

Thanks for the bug report, inadvisable. I have a Canon HV30 Firewire camcorder, and I'd previously tested it in HD mode, which works just fine. But the PV-GS320 is an SD camera. If I switch my HV30 to SD mode (which I hadn't previously tested), I see a skewed similar to the one you attached. We'll try to get this fixed.
