I want to be able to make feedback loops with the simplicity of QC.
A value going directly into something like a splitter, and then that output being able to hook directly back.

When we (Team Vuo) plan each release, we try to implement as many of the community's top-voted feature requests as we have time for.
If anyone would like to help this happen sooner, we're also accepting open source contributions and commissioned work.

We've been thinking about
We've been thinking about adding the ability for composition authors to override ports' event blocking behavior. Once we've added that feature, we could make it work on-the-fly — so if you're trying to connect a cable that would result in an infinite loop, Vuo Editor could automatically set the receiving port to block events, thus functioning as the break in the infinite loop.
I've opened this feature request for community voting — it'll encompass both adding the ability to override, and on-the-fly infinite loop breaking.
