Hi Luiz ! Thanks so much for this composition- seems a super useful technique for inserting transformations in feedback chain( thats my understanding of it ) With thanks to Huseyin Kuru Motus.Lumina I have the following variation that creates all sorts of nice noise patterns, it works well as an FXplug and attached patch version is set up as a generator. Attached quick capture of some of the noise patterns from within VUO- expect it to come alive in VDMX and other programs with sound. thanks again , Paul

Thanks so much Jean Marie Will update as you suggest Cheers

. now I look more closely I can see it is actually working in vuo playback - just the values work differently in Generator comp than the window output comp - and so need adjusting so that the pattern is bright and thick enough to be visible! next to test FFGL. - and yes with this comp now the ffgl is happy too! Fixed files attached-- I find it pretty interesting quite a range of patterns can be found -or black! - with only slight tweaks of threshold and noise values.. If the comp is sensible in terms of the programming- I might post it for others to look at and improve! Cheers! Paul

sorry for the delay will try this out and get back to you, soon thanks!

By the way THANKS to Team VUO and supporters for new version- on loading this up it picked up and warned me to remove a couple of error nodes

Paul commented on Paul's Feature Request, “More Varieties of Noise Functions

Thanks Jaymie for reading and considering this. I was influenced by the fancy names for 'varieties' of noise generators or functions in other programs. I guess the tools are probably already in VUO ! to actually construct more varieties of textures, fractal like noise and so on I probably just need to get better at using lists of random numbers, iteration and feedback - including working out how to use HOLD function or equivalent that can work in generator compositions and so on.. Making... Interested in generative art- sound responsive turbulent, wispy, and cellular textures that evolve in interesting ways over time! thanks Paul
