Team Vuo is proud and thankful for the overwhelming interest and support we received during Vuo’s launch — THANK YOU! We are most excited about what the Vuo Community will do going forward. Due to the immediate efforts of several community members who submitted clear and detailed reports, we were able to efficiently pinpoint and remedy several graphics issues in the first few days. Go Vuo! We have high hopes about what Vuo will become — because of what the Vuo Community is already doing. Here’s what we did this weekend:
- Fixed issue with glitchy graphics on OS 10.8 and 10.9 systems with Radeon GPUs. (Thanks to @mattgolsen, @mr knott, @emervark, @mnstri, @sala28, @joeladria, @lvers, @nrlnd, @tobyspark, @639me, @cermaerd, and @dannyow for providing feedback on this issue!)
- Fixed issue where some image filters might output garbage in areas of the image that are supposed to be transparent. (Thanks to @destroythings for reporting this issue!)
- When rendering a scene to an image, start out with an alpha-transparent buffer, instead of solid black.
- Updated documentation on the ‘Get Scene’ and ‘Get Image’ nodes to indicate that they don’t yet support HTTPS (coming soon, once we resolve US cryptography export issues).
Looking forward!
